Costa Rica has endured a 21 century US invasion! Beautiful country abundant with volcanoes, waterfalls, forests and stunning beaches. The Costa Ricans are lovely patient people. Long traffic queues on predominantly single lane roads wind around the mountains - no bridges nor tunnels.
Loved both parts of the country, but recognise there is so much more of this beautiful country to see ... a return beckons!

Loved Antigua for its Catholic monasteries, churches and history; loved Lake Atitlan for its beauty and cultural heritage. Beautiful scenery with countless volcanoes and rich, cultivated agricultural soil in the valleys.
