Silverhairedgappies: the utlimate travel advice for the discerning traveller
Costa Rica has endured a 21 century US invasion!  Beautiful country abundant with volcanoes, waterfalls, forests and stunning beaches.  The Costa Ricans are lovely patient people.  Long traffic queues on predominantly single lane roads wind around the mountains - no bridges nor tunnels.
Loved both parts of the country, but recognise there is so much more of this beautiful country to see ... a return beckons!

Beautiful country with colourful cultural heritage.  Wonderful, friendly people.   Excellent and imaginative food.   Prolific Catholic history with many monasteries and churches all impacted by the 18th century earthquakes.
